Uncle Frank used to call it that and make this all the time and it has become one of my favorites for venison.
- Venison steaks cut into bite size
- Vidalia onion
- Pickled jalapenos
-layer venison, onions, jalepenos in jar
-pour jalepeno juice to cover
-refrigerate for at least 24 hours
-eat on crackers!

@adamca no, the vinegar from the jalapenos will kill anything. Surprisingly it isnt really that hot either, but the taste is amazing!

@jonathon you need to try making this. I am telling you this is some of the best snacks I have ever had! Everyone that stops by when i have it loves it and starts making it.
@Ernie I don’t have a particular recipe but I did make brats with ‘The Sausage King of Walla Walla’ using Walla Walla Sweet Onion juice. He was a notorious sausage maker in my area and only made one type…Sweet Onion. For small batches he would grate or mince the onions fine and squeeze out the excess water and use that for flavoring. Larger batches he would source the liquid from processors.
I would suggest using one of the Excalibur brat seasonings as a base and play around with the juice.
