I’ve never been to anything like that but I’d jump at the opportunity! The only class I can afford at this time is Meatgistics! lol
-
Tex_77 Ive never gone to that one but I have done the Iowa State short course and other people here have done many others. I’ve never heard anything other than positive things from these types of classes. If you have the time and resources I would say pull the trigger!

FRN, that’s news to me! TAMU grad “76” did not know of this class. I’m on it like a duck on a June bug!

Jonathon I didn’t know Iowa State had classes, I guess if I ever get into sausage making I’ll have to look into those classes more.

frank nelson I didn’t know anything about the classes until a couple of years ago. I guess they also have a regular bbq class for students that fills up fast every year, that covers bbq from around the world.

Wow I’ve lived in TX most of my life and didn’t even know about this.
I’m only 1 1/2 hr. drive to Bryan/College Station. I need to go to this. Thanks for the post. -
Tex_77 Been to Texas A&M numerous times, back in my 20’s & 30’s, for fire fighting school. Never got a spread there but boy, did we eat locally. Texas, and Firefighters, knows how to eat!!!
