pk 100
-
Well I received my PK100 yesterday. I am hel[ping my son move and won’t get to unpack and assemble for a week or 2. I am reading what ever I can from where ever I can to decide what will be the first thing I smoke. Being totally blind and all I chose the PK100. Every where on youtube I read about stick burnters. That isn’t an option for me since I can’t see to control the fire. Most say it’s the only way to go. I will either try pulled pork or brisket first. Can’t wait to contribute to the community.

I think you will love the food it produces. Imparts exceptional smoke flavor. Enjoy -
It’s a shame the for the price point of the PK 100 you can not get a cover for it…what does everyone use for a cover?? Any other brands of covers that would work ???

I don’t own a pK-100 but I bought a cover for my new Santa Marie grill that also doesn’t come with a cover.
The cover I bought was custom made exactly for this grill and is super heavy duty and water proof. It has 4 straps along the bottom as well as a vertical zipper for easy on/off.
The cover was expensive ($500) compared to some generic ones but then I wanted to fully protect my $2500 grill from ALL of the elements.
I don’t have the company name off hand but could/would look it up if anyone is interested? -
marvsBBQ can we get a picture of your grill?

I got every option available so the price jumped quick from the base price of $895 to $2500 but VERY happy I did.
And hey, anyone is welcome to stop by anytime! Always looking for excuse to fire up the pits…Montgomery, Tx -

The covers are made by:
Grillwraps.com

Just so you know and am sure they will tell you, their lead time is 5-6 weeks. So don’t wait until you want it yesterday.
I ordered mine the same day I ordered my grill and got the cover about a week before -
Here is a pic of the cover on the grill…I had my choice of color as well as material and I choose the tan thinking it wouldn’t show the dirt of being outside. Well that’s true but it DOES show the grease although it can be easily cleaned off, it’s just a hassle and I wish I would of chosen black

Thanks for the info…I’ll definitely check them out.
