Chicovt I only used a binder the very first time l made snack sticks , l will typically stuff 19mm , 23mm , 32mm , and 1 1/2" all in one batch using only a 12mm tube . I experiment with something different almost every time l stuff n smoke . I DO ALWAYS grind mix/season and stuff as my prep procedure then allow the stuffed products to rest in stuffed form for about 12 hours refrigerated , good luck Chico !!

Thank you to everyone who responded. I am going to stock the nacho cheese snack sticks and the sweet chili, the others are coming in as samples and we will determine if they are worth carrying or not!

Jonathon while I haven’t been in the R&D building, I’ve toured their main facility (a ~12 minute drive) and got to watch them mix and package seasonings. You wanna talk about some big mixers… holy cow!
Ironically enough, Excalibur is how I found out about Waltons. We used to walk into their facility when I was a kid (~20 years ago) and buy seasonings directly. They stopped selling directly and told me to go check out Waltons. And the rest is history!
I would jump at the chance to see a facility like that in operation.
