rnbryan51 I have the same grinder and while it is slightly tilted back, so is the much larger shop grinder we have. That was one of the first things that I noticed. It seemed to me that is was made that way ‘by design’ as they both appear to have the same angle. I could be wrong.
Grinder blades

Is there any difference between meat grinder knives that are 4 bladed curved or 4 bladed straight
-
samspade Yeah, the straight ones are generally more for commercial or higher end. They also are often able to be sharpened when they are dull by sending them in to us or another company with the necessary equipment. The curved ones, or propellers as I like to call them, are not sharpenable and they have a totally “flat” blade. The straight ones will have the leading edge sharp but then it angles away so only the leading edge of the blade comes into contact with the plate, meaning a little less wear and tear.

Jonathon I knew there had to be a good reason. Thanks
