That is what was holding me back also. Till I found one of another brand at a yard sale for $5.00. Before that I used the cannisters that came with my food saver.
I would marinate in them under vacuum just shake things around a few times and release the vacuum and revacuun a time or two. You just don’t get the same tumbling effect.

I used to really like old Bay before got it so salty
Any opinions out there on how Captains Bay compares on taste and salt?
glen Great question. Being from New Orleans, I only used Zataraian’s Pro Boil. To me, similar in taste to the Old Bay and WAY less expensive.
Both Zataraian’s and Old Bay are, as you say, too salty for some applications, so I just mix my own blend.
So interested in the Captains Bay and how it compairs.
